Deepest Part of the Ocean

The Mariana Trench is located in the Pacific Ocean, just east of the 14 Mariana Islands (11″21′ North latitude and 142″ 12′ East longitude ) near Japan . As you probably already know, it is the deepest part of the earth’s oceans, and the deepest location of the earth itself. It was created by ocean-to-ocean subduction, a phenomena in which a plate topped by oceanic crust is subducted beneath another plate topped by oceanic crust.

Fact -The Mariana Trench is 11,033 meters (36,201 feet), (6033.5) fathoms deep. The Pressure at the deepest part of the Mariana Trench is over 8 tons per square inch. The Mariana Trench is 2, 542 km (1,580 miles) long and 69 km (43 miles) wide.

Mengikut data yang dikumpulkan menerusi data almanak 'InfoPlease Kids' di Yahooligans, dunia kini mempunyai 190 buah negara yang merdeka.

Russia adalah negara yang terbesar di dunia manakala Vatican City di Rom (negara di mana, Tun Mahathir Mohamad berjumpa dengan Pope John Paul) adalah negara yang paling kecil di dunia.
Keluasannya dianggarkan kurang daripada 1.6km.

Bagaimana pun selain daripada 190 buah negara yang merdeka ini, terdapat banyak lagi kawasan, wilayah dan juga negara negara di bawah jajahan.
Contohnya, Samoa salah satu daripada Kepulauan Pasifik adalah di bawah pemerintahan Amerika Syarikat.

Mayat berjalan pulang

Di Kg Toradja (Indonesi) terdapat satu ilmu yg luar biasa dimana
mereka boleh menjadikan mayat berjalan pulang ke rumah sendiri.
kejadian berlaku disebuah daerah pendalaman Indonesia yg berbukit
bukau. Jika ada kematian di kg Toradja maka mayat itu akan
diberi kuasa hipnotisme supaya simati boleh pulang berjalan kaki
dan hanya berhenti bila sampai dirumahnya. kuasa ini dibuat supaya
tidak menyusahkan orang kg dari mengurus mayat tersebut.

A True Story.. Very Touching... ;)

This is based on a true story.........it's very touching. U have to
read... Enjoy...

A rich businessman had a beautiful daughter,
who fell in love
with a guy who was a cleaner.

When the girl's father came to know about their love,
he did not like
it at all, and so began to protest about it.

Now it happened that the two lovers decided to leave
their homes for
a happy future. The girl's father started searching
for the two lovers
but could not find them.

At last, he accepted their love and asked them to come
back home in a
local newspaper. Her father said "If you both come
back I will allow
you to marry the guy you love, I accept that you loved
each other truly."

So in this way, their love won and they returned
home.

The couple went to town to shop for the wedding dress.
He was dressed
in white shirt that day. While he was crossing the
road to the other
side to get some drinks for his wife, a car came and
hit him and he died
on the spot.. The girl lost her senses. It was only
after sometimes that
she recovered from her shocked. The funeral and
cremation was the very
next day because he had died horribly.

Two nights later, the girl's mother had a dream in
which she saw an
old lady. The old lady asked her mother to wash the
blood stains of the
guy from her daughter's dress as soon as possible. But
her mother ignored
the dream.

The next night her father had the same dream, he also
ignored it.
Then when the girl had the same dream the next night,
she woke up in fear
and told her mother about the dream. Her mother asked
her to wash the
clothes which have blood stains immediately.

She washed the stains but some remained. Next night
she again had the
same dream she again washed the stains but some still
remained.

Next night she again had the same dream and this time
the old lady
gave her a last warning to wash the blood stain, or
else something
terrible will happen. This time the girl tried her
best to wash the stains,
and the clothes nearly tore, but some stains still
remained.

She was very tired.
In the late evening the same day while she was alone
at home, someone
knocked the door. When she opened the door she saw the
same old lady
of her dream standing at her door. She got very scared
and fainted.

The old lady woke her up... and gave her a blue
object, which shocked
the girl. She asked "What is this....?"

The old lady replied...

LPG Gas Cylinders - Expiry dates

Do you know that LPG gas cylinders have expiry dates?

Expired LPG cylinders are not safe for use and may cause accidents.
In this regard,please be cautious at the time of
accepting any LPG cylinder from your vendor. Here is how we can check on the expiry of LPG cylinders:
On one of three side stems of the cylinder, the expiry date is coded alpha numerically as follows: A or B or C or D
and some two digit number following this, e.g. D06.

The alphabets stand for quarters -
1. A for March (first quarter),

2. B for June (second quarter),

3. C for September (third quarter), &

4. D for December (fourth quarter).

The digits stand for the year till it is valid.
Hence D06 would mean December quarter of 2006.
Please return back the cylinder that you get withan expired date.
They are prone to leaks and other hazards .

This second example of D13 allows the cylinder to

be in use until December 2013.
